Integrity Pledge

As a member of Builders' Integrity Group, I pledge to provide the following items to the Trade Contractors on all of the homes I build. I will:

1. Provide a work forecast to enable proper scheduling by the contractor. 
2. Give Pledging contractors priority to use them before looking outside. 
3. Have the job ready for the contractor to improve the efficiency. 
4. Provide clean and safe job sites. 
5. Provide the contractor adequate access to get in and out of the job. 
6. Foster partnership with other trade contractors. 
7. Provide thorough documentation between trade contractor and builder. 
8. Be available for clear communication between trade contractor and builder. 
9. Respect the trade contractor. 
10. Furnish training for trade contractors and their employees. 
11. Commit to reliable payment as agreed. 
12. Commit to provide quality plans 
13. Reduce the time that contractor needs to shop for new work. 
14. Be bound by the alternative dispute process through the HBA/BBB ADR program.

As a Trade Contractor serving BIG members, you can count on me to: 

1. Show priority to program builders in bidding, pricing and availability. 
2. Show up on jobs as scheduled. 
3. Complete work on time, without leaving for other work unless approved. 
4. Keep and leave job sites clean. 
5. Take pride in our work and work habits. 
6. Enforce substance abuse laws and builder requirements with my workers. 
7. Actively train and follow OSHA "Home Safe" guidelines. 
8. Partner with other trade contractors by respecting work in place. 
9. Have a willingness to commit to general field implementation rules. 
10. Commit to efficiency, education, and excellence. 
11. Offer a value to builder for the products and services provided. 
12. Seek out innovation to improve my value to the builder. 
13. Agree that the builder will authorize all changes in writing. 
14. Be bound by the alternative dispute process through HBA/BBB ADR program.
